Ford studied art at the University of Mississippi and began his career as a photographer. In the early 90's he felt a compelling urge to return to painting and took a year hiatus to travel the world seeking inspiration. He found tremendous fulfillment creating contemporary landscapes found in the stunning horizons found during his travels.
